About Spotlight!
Spotlight! is an online TCG that is dedicated to idol-centric series that originate from Japan. Idols are heavily promoted multimedia stars. In Japan, they are adored by the masses and frequently perform at concerts or events; however, the idol industry is both competitive and harsh, and many involved have short-lived careers. Read more?

Limited Edition TCG Boosts

Limited edition TCG boosts are very similar to our regular TCG boosts. The difference between the regular boosts and the limited edition boosts is that there are two separate prices should one choose to purchase them with regular currency rather than event currency - since they were initially meant to be purchased through event shops or earned as event prizes. One price will be the amount of points needed to give the boost as a gift to a fellow player, while the other price will be the amount of points needed to purchase the boost for yourself. To make things short, the larger price will be the amount required to acquire the boost for yourself.

Unless they are earned as event prizes, or gifted by another member, players may not acquire more than 1 of each limited edition boost within the same month. Please note that, outside of events, members may only receive limited edition boosts as gifts through their "official" wishlist thread.

Boost Name Description Cost
Deck Request Member is allowed to select a deck to be released from the upcoming list - or made and released from the deck claims spreadsheet. Boost is considered to be "used" once the request has been approved and added to the release queue. If a deck is only marked as claimed, the request will only be valid if it is the member's own deck claim. 250 / 500
Free Idol Comp. Card Member is allowed to use this boost in place of the necessary proof required to unlock any card from their Idol Compilation Album - with the exception of level-up tasks as they do not have to be posted after the initial application in order to be counted. 175 / 350
Weekly Game Rewards Member may collect the weekly game rewards twice. Uses of this boost do not have to be consecutive but the member must keep track of how many uses they have left. (1 Use = 1 Week // Max. 6 Uses) 200 / 400
Biweekly Game Rewards Member may collect the biweekly game rewards twice. Uses of this boost do not have to be consecutive but the member must keep track of how many uses they have left. (1 Use = 1 Set // Max. 6 Uses ) 225 / 450
Double Level-Up Rewards All rewards for leveling up, including royalties, are doubled before applying any additional boosts. Uses do not have to be consecutive but the member must keep track of how many uses have been used and how many are remaining. (1 Use = 1 Level // Max. 5 Uses) 300 / 600
Double Mastery Rewards All rewards for mastering a deck - with the exception of event cards, event decks, and idol compilation albums - are doubled before applying any additional boosts. Uses do not have to be consecutive but the member must keep track of how many uses have been used and how many are remaining. (1 Use = 1 Deck // Max. 5 Uses) 350 / 700

How Boosts Work

In order to use a TCG boost, you must post the proper TCG boost graphic (all shown below with the exception of featured artist) on the forums when claiming decks or using a specific service. The only exceptions to this are the weekly choice card and the additional 2 release pulls, both of which only need to be displayed on your trade post. Please note that members may only have ONE of each permanent TCG boost.

Regular TCG Boosts

Limited Edition TCG Boosts

In regards to the boosts that only need to be displayed on your trade post in order for them to be used, follow the guidelines below.
  • Log the weekly choice card as....
    • Boost (Weekly Choice): filename (#/8 uses remaining)

Choice Cards

Choice cards may be purchased as individual cards or in a set of 4 or 6 cards. You may purchase no more than six (6) cards per week, with a limit of four (4) cards per deck in any given week. Once you have maxed out your choice card purchases, you must wait at least seven (7) days before making another choice card purchase.
