I'm not even going to pretend that I chose Monday as Spotlight's update day for any other reason than to make sure that the hell day that is Idolise update Sunday has already passed over by the time people see my own update. I'm sure a lot of you had already suspected it. Consider this your confirmation.

Now onto the meatier stuff...well, not really - but onto the rest of the update!

Affiliates: Go check out Sakura - and if you join, make sure to let them know that Cami referred you. While you're at it, feel free to check out Sentai as well.

Games: You can play the WEEKLY and BIWEEKLY SET 1 games again.

Wishing Well: I wasn't intending on granting more than one wish this week, but the votes had spoken so I ended up granting two. This won't be a common occurrence during prejoin.

New Decks: To make sure that our upcoming list doesn't get too small, the prejoin period will have 5-deck releases until our grand opening.

You may claim up to ten (10) cards from this release with a limit of four (4) cards per deck.
Donators and/or deck makers may claim an additional card from each deck that they made/donated.
Please organize your pull swaps in the #trades-and-pulls channel of our Discord server.
If there is nothing that you want to keep from this release (and you are unable to swap them with someone else, please click here for the update randomizer.

Upcoming Vote: If you hadn't played the set 2 games before today (for any reason), you probably noticed that the upcoming vote has been disabled. This is not a mistake. You were never meant to vote for decks during the prejoin phase to begin with, but I overlooked the possibility of people placing votes as soon as a deck was added to the upcoming list. I have modified the voting page so that voting weeks align with set 2 weeks. The most-voted for decks will be released over the course of the prejoin period (one at a time) - starting with Udagawa Ako who was released this week.

Don't worry too much, though. If enough decks are added to the upcoming list before the next SET 2 update, then voting will be re-opened once more. (By enough, I mean over 40 total upcoming decks.)

Event Card: Normally, I'd give out an event card for the first mastery...but since that belonged to myself and the second to Jess, I'm not counting them. The first non-admin member to master a deck will get that honor.

Freebies: I promised you Masato freebies, didn't I? Click this link to claim your freebies. There's a maximum of 3 per deck! Other guidelines for these freebies are included on the page.

// EDIT: It was brought to my attention that the Masato freebies just suddenly stopped working for some reason. In case it keeps having issues, take choice cards spelling out "UR MASATO" and one choice card for each color of the rainbow (1 red, 1 orange, 1 yellow, 1 green, 1 blue, 1 purple, and 1 gray). Use the released decks list to see the color associated with each deck. Make sure to comment with what you take.

Closing Notes: Don't forget to join the Discord server, everyone! During the prejoin phase, we'll mostly be using the Discord to see how things are going.

Other than that, though, I'll see you guys on August 20. Jess won't be posting any updates until after the grand opening.

P.S. How are you guys liking the new forum theme? I figured that if we're not gonna be using an Ensemble Stars! theme on the main site, we shouldn't really be using one on the forum.
