Now Open to the Public!

As promised, Spotlight is now ready for public prejoin. The winner of the twitter giveaway is Rizu! They were apparently the only one who remembered how much I love Tokiya. Well, okay, that's probably not true - but they're definitely the only one that even bothered to reply. This might be my own fault, though, since I forgot to mention that everyone that guesses would get a prize pack. Being first just gives you a bigger prize pack that also has choice cards.

@Rizu: The winner's prize pack has yet to be coded yet, but it'll be ready for pick-up by next week.

Games: Go ahead and play ALL of the games. Next week is when we'll start alternating the biweekly rounds.

New Decks: Look, there are sixty (60) decks that have been released right now. To save time, I'm just going to tell you that you can take two (2) cards from every deck that you have donated. There is no reason why you shouldn't - unless it's still in upcoming. Ignore what it says when you view upcoming decks. You CANNOT take cards from unreleased decks. I'll be fixing that at a later date when I'm not half-asleep from making decks all weekend. If you made the deck, you can take one additional card. (Donation pulls exclude myself, but deck maker pulls do not.)

Freebies: I do have a few freebies that I have decided that everyone should get. First, you can all take choice cards spelling out "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOKIYA" since it is, in fact, Tokiya's birthday today. I've also got Masato-related freebies for all of you, but that can wait until next week. (Luckily for you, these freebies have no cards-per-deck limit. Tokiya-related freebies never will.)

Closing Notes: If this update feels half-assed, it's because it actually is. I got distracted playing The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel 2 - which has nothing to do with idol anime, but has me hooked. Honestly, I'm surprised I got myself to stay away from it for over month - and you should be glad I did that or this public prejoin would've happened much later since I wouldn't have anywhere close to the number of decks I wanted for a public prejoin.

Anyway, I'll see you guys again on August 13 with some brand new decks! If you want to get a sneak peek at them, make sure to join our discord. This is where you'll be able to get game help, suggest decks, and organize trade pulls! We will, of course, make forum threads and sections for deck suggestions and trade pulls - but we'd prefer that you use the Discord just to keep things easy on us.
